The NBA announced Friday that the Philidelphia 76ers have been fined $100,000 for violating league injury report rules.

Sixers star center Joel Embiid returned to the court on April 2 after missing two months of play to help Philidelphia capture a 109-105 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder. The only issue is that Embiid was listed as “Out” on the Sixers’ injury report, leading the Thunder and NBA fans to believe Embiid would remain inactive.
The NBA stated that the fine takes into account the 76er’s prior history of violating injury report rules.
