Thunder forward Jalen Williams led the Thunder to victory, recording 33 points, eight assists, and four rebounds. He was joined by guard Josh Giddey, who put up 16 points, 12 assists, and 13 rebounds to capture his second triple-double of the season. The Thunder and Nuggets are the only two teams in the West to secure their spot in the playoffs.
Denver also captured its playoff berth Sunday night, defeating the Clevland Cavaliers 130-101. The Minnesota Timberwolves came close to gaining a playoff appearance but fell short to the Chicago Bulls, which caused them to give up the No. 1 seed in the West and drop to No. 3.
