Center Jonas Valanciunas trailed right behind with 19 points and 13 rebounds to record the Pelicans' only double-double. Forward Naji Marshall scored 16 points off the bench, but it was not enough to stop the Thunder from gaining an eight-point victory.
The Thunder advance to the Western Conference Semi-Finals, where they will face the winner of the Dallas Mavericks vs. the Los Angeles Clippers. The teams are tied 2-2 in their opening-round playoff series. The Clippers host Game 5 on Wednesday, May 1, hoping to take a 3-2 lead over Dallas.
