Coby White drives to the paint on his 37-point performance night

Coby White tallied a game-high 37-point performance that included six made three-pointers to lead Chicago (36-42) past Charlotte 131-117.

White shot 12-16 (75%) from the field while dishing out five assists and grabbing two rebounds to push the Bulls to their third straight victory.

Josh Giddy followed up on the heels of White with a 23-point, 10 rebound double-double, where he also tallied eight assists, just two shy of a triple-double.

Nikola Vucevic joined Giddy in double-double territory with 16 points and 11 boards of his own. Kevin Huerter and Matas Buzelis rounded out Chicago’s starting five in double-figure scoring with 13 and 10 points, respectively.

Patrick Williams contributed significant minutes off the bench and notched 15 points to join the rest of the Bulls' leading scorers.

The Bulls' 46-point second-quarter performance propelled Chicago to a 20-point lead over Charlotte (19-59) at the half, a lead that would hold true until the final buzzer.

Mark Williams paced the Hornets' four double-digit scorers with 22 points, while coming just one rebound shy of a double-double with nine.

Jusuf Nurkic (18), KJ Simpson (18), and Seth Curry (10) rounded out the Hornets' double-figure scorers, but their efforts were not enough to counter Charlotte’s poor shooting from beyond the arc.

The Hornets shot 27% from long range, with Nick Smith Jr. shooting 0-7 from three. The team shot 8-30 from distance.

Charlotte has already been eliminated from the Eastern Conference Playoffs, but Chicago is still in the hunt as they have secured a play-in bid. The question is, what seed will they get?

Both teams are back in action on Tuesday night. The Bulls visit Cleveland to take on the Cavaliers, and the Hornets wrap up their home schedule against the Grizzlies.
