Celtics vs. Wizards Dec 4

Even without Jaylen Brown, the Boston Celtics barely broke a sweat Thursday night, rolling past the Washington Wizards 146–101 behind a season-best performance from Derrick White and a breakout night from rookie Jordan Walsh.

White was everywhere, finishing with 30 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds as Boston improved to 13–9, winning for the eighth time in 10 games. Walsh added a career-high 22 points, continuing his recent surge in extended minutes.

Boston controlled the game from the jump and never trailed, blitzing Washington with a 37–4 run and leading by as many as 33 in the first half. The Wizards strung together a 12–0 spurt late in the second quarter, but the deficit never dipped into competitive territory as the Celtics piled on with 79 second-half points.

Peyton Pritchard chipped in 20 points and eight assists, while Neemias Queta (17) and Anfernee Simons (16) rounded out a balanced Celtics attack that overwhelmed Washington in transition, on the glass, and from deep.

The Wizards, mired in a 3–18 start and now owners of their worst loss of the season, were led by C.J. McCollum’s 22 points and Khris Middleton’s 15. It marked Washington’s 10th straight loss to Boston, continuing a one-sided stretch between the East rivals.

Brown, coming off a 42-point outburst Tuesday, missed the game due to illness.
