Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 15 of his 30 points in the fourth quarter, rallying the Milwaukee Bucks from a 13-point deficit to a dramatic 116–114 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night.

Ryan Rollins put Milwaukee ahead for good with a driving layup with 17.9 seconds remaining, and Kyle Kuzma — who poured in a season-high 26 points off the bench — sealed the victory moments later with a steal and a dunk after Dallas rookie Cooper Flagg slipped on an inbound pass.
The Mavericks still had a chance in the closing seconds. Down 116–113, P.J. Washington Jr. was fouled by Antetokounmpo on a desperation 3-point attempt with 1.2 seconds left. After hitting his first free throw, Washington missed the second, then intentionally missed the third, but Dallas’ Moussa Cisse couldn’t secure the rebound before Bobby Portis Jr. grabbed it to clinch the win for Milwaukee.
Flagg, the No. 1 overall pick in last summer’s draft, continued to impress with a season-high 26 points for Dallas. Brandon Williams added 19 in his first start of the year.
Antetokounmpo, who entered the night leading the NBA in scoring (33.8 ppg), was quiet early, taking just four shots in the first half. But the two-time MVP dominated down the stretch, hitting key midrange jumpers and attacking the rim to lead Milwaukee’s comeback. He finished 11-for-18 from the field with one made 3-pointer.
Dallas played without Anthony Davis (left calf strain) for the sixth straight game and was again missing center Dereck Lively II (right knee sprain).
The loss sparked more frustration from the home crowd, which ended the night with another round of “Fire Nico” chants directed at general manager Nico Harrison.
Milwaukee travels to Charlotte on Wednesday night to take on the Hornets while the Mavericks host the Phoenix Suns.
