    Miami Heat blow 17 point lead en route to three-point loss to the Charlotte Hornets

    The Charlotte Hornets (16-48) scraped past the Miami Heat (29-35) 105-102, after the Heat blew a 17-point lead to lose their fourth straight on Monday, March 10.

    Miles Bridges led the Hornets in scoring, tallying a game-high 35 points to accompany his five rebounds and assists. Mark Williams shined in a 24-point 10 10-rebound double-double performance, as he and Bridges combined for 59 of the Hornets' 105 points.

    LaMelo Ball joined Williams in double-double territory with 15 points and 10 rebounds, and was four rebounds away from a triple-double with six.

    Miami was led by a 23 point, 14 rebound performance from Bam Adebayo, who also tacked on eight assists. Tyler Herro (21), Andrew Wiggins (19) and Duncan Robinson (14) joined Adebayo in double figure scoring, yet it was not enough for the Heat to move past the Hornets.

    After leading 49-32 midway through the second quarter, the Hornets began to chip away at Miami’s lead.

    Charlotte returns to action on Wednesday, March 12, when it travels to San Antonio, TX,to take on the Spurs, On the same night, Miami will host the Los Angeles Clippers
