Nikola Jokić posted 35 points and 15 rebounds, and Jamal Murray added 23 as the Denver Nuggets extended their winning streak to five games with a 122-108 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night.

Aaron Gordon scored 17 points, and Bruce Brown contributed 14 off the bench for the defending champions, who shot 51% from the field and outrebounded Sacramento 48-35 to improve to 9-3 on the season.
Domantas Sabonis led the Kings with 19 points, eight rebounds, and four assists, while Drew Eubanks matched him with 19 points and seven boards. DeMar DeRozan finished with 18 points, and Russell Westbrook added 14, but Sacramento dropped its third straight game.
The Kings led by one after the opening quarter before Denver seized control late in the second period, taking the lead for good with 1:45 remaining before halftime. The Nuggets then blew the game open in the fourth quarter with a 16-2 run, pushing their lead to 101-86.
Both squads are back in action on Wednesday night as the Nuggets visit Los Angeles to take on the Clippers, while the Kings host the Atlanta Hawks.
