Cam Thomas poured in 34 points in just his second game with Milwaukee, and Kevin Porter Jr. recorded a triple-double as the Bucks defeated the Orlando Magic 116-108 on Wednesday night.

Thomas, who signed with Milwaukee as a free agent on Sunday, shot 12 of 20 from the field and 4 of 6 from 3-point range in 39 minutes. He scored 15 points in the third quarter, including a 3-pointer that gave the Bucks an 88-80 lead.

Porter added 18 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists for the fifth triple-double of his career. Jericho Sims and Ousmane Dieng each scored 17 points, with Sims grabbing 11 rebounds as Milwaukee dominated the glass 47-30.

Desmond Bane led Orlando with 31 points, catching fire early by hitting his first five shots — all from 3-point range — and scoring 20 by midway through the second quarter. Paolo Banchero finished with 17 points, while Jalen Suggs had 16 points, 10 assists and four steals.

Bane brought the Magic back late, scoring eight straight points and tying the game at 104 on a 3-pointer with 3:02 remaining. But Kyle Kuzma answered with a go-ahead layup to put Milwaukee up 108-106, and Myles Turner and Thomas each knocked down 3-pointers in the final minute to seal the win.
