Coby White scored 22 points and Ayo Dosunmu added 20 as the Chicago Bulls cruised past the Dallas Mavericks 125-107 on Saturday night, snapping a three-game losing streak.
Chicago never trailed, placing seven players in double figures and overwhelming Dallas in transition with a 38-8 advantage in fast-break points. Nikola Vucevic and Matas Buzelis each scored 15 points as the Bulls shot 51.5% from the field.
Dallas played without Anthony Davis, who is sidelined with ligament damage in his left hand, and lost head coach Jason Kidd midway through the first quarter after he was ejected for arguing a goaltending call with referee Scott Foster. Foster assessed Kidd two technical fouls following the dispute.
Ryan Nembhard led the Mavericks with 16 points and six assists. Rookie Cooper Flagg struggled, finishing with 11 points and one rebound on 4-of-13 shooting as Dallas dropped its second straight game.
The Mavericks were down eight after the first quarter, and the game began to slip away in the second. Chicago used a 13-2 run to turn a seven-point lead into a 59-41 advantage on Buzelis’ fast-break layup with about four minutes remaining before halftime.
The Bulls put the game away in the fourth quarter, opening with a decisive 21-4 surge that stretched a 10-point margin into a 115-88 lead, their largest of the night.
The Mavericks return home to host Brooklyn on Monday, while the Bulls continue their road trip Tuesday at Houston.
