Josh Giddey continued his torrid stretch with 16 points, 15 rebounds and 13 assists — his fourth triple-double in five games — to power the Chicago Bulls to a 132–107 rout of the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night.
Giddey, who now has 12 triple-doubles this season — trailing only Nikola Jokic and Jalen Johnson — orchestrated a balanced Chicago attack that pulled away decisively in the second half. The Bulls outscored Memphis 71–50 after the break to turn a competitive game into a blowout.
Matas Buzelis led Chicago with 29 points, knocking down five 3-pointers as the young forward continued a recent scoring surge. Tre Jones added 17 points, while Rob Dillingham chipped in 15 off the bench for a Bulls team that snapped through for just its fifth win in the last 23 games.
Memphis, severely short-handed, dropped its eighth straight contest. Cedric Coward paced the Grizzlies with 17 points, while Jaylen Wells and Taylor Hendricks each scored 16. The Grizzlies were again without Ja Morant, who has been sidelined for nearly two months, as well as Zach Edey, Ty Jerome and G.G. Jackson, contributing to their 3–15 slide over the last 18 games.
