San Antonio Spurs rookie Carter Bryant has been added to the 2026 Castrol Rising Stars roster, stepping in for injured Memphis Grizzlies guard Cedric Coward on Team Vince.
Coward was ruled out due to right knee soreness after earning his Rising Stars selection through a vote of NBA assistant coaches.
Bryant, a 6-foot-6 forward, has played in 43 games this season for San Antonio. Over his last five appearances, he is averaging 9.6 points and 4.2 rebounds in 16.9 minutes per game. In addition to Friday night’s Rising Stars showcase, Bryant is also set to compete in the AT&T Slam Dunk during NBA All-Star Saturday.
Team Vince is led by Hall of Famer Vince Carter, one of four NBC Sports NBA analysts serving as honorary coaches for the Rising Stars event. The showcase tips off at 9 p.m. ET at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, and will stream on Peacock.
