LeBron James made history in Los Angeles, becoming the oldest player in NBA history to record a triple-double in the Lakers’ 124-104 win over the Dallas Mavericks.

At 41 years and 44 days old, James finished with 28 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds, surpassing the previous mark set by Karl Malone. He scored 14 points in the first quarter to set the tone and secured his 10th rebound with just over two minutes remaining before exiting to a standing ovation.

Rui Hachimura added 21 points and Austin Reaves chipped in 18 points and six assists as the Lakers won for the seventh time in 11 games.

Dallas dropped its ninth straight contest despite 19 points apiece from Naji Marshall and Max Christie. Rookie Cooper Flagg missed the game with a sprained foot, while Luka Doncic remained sidelined for the Lakers with a hamstring strain.

Trail Blazers 135, Jazz 119

Jrue Holiday delivered a season-high 31 points and Donovan Clingan controlled the interior with 23 points and 18 rebounds to power Portland past Utah 135-119.

Clingan added seven assists and three blocks in one of his most complete performances of the season, helping the Trail Blazers (27-29) win their fourth game in five tries. Jerami Grant scored 18 points and Scoot Henderson added 15.

Brice Sensabaugh led the Jazz with 28 points, while Ace Bailey, Kyle Filipowski and Isaiah Collier each had 15. Utah played without Jaren Jackson Jr., who will undergo knee surgery, as well as Lauri Markkanen and Keyonte George.

Portland broke the game open with a 40-23 third quarter, turning a tight contest into a comfortable win.

Bucks 110, Thunder 93

Ousmane Dieng enjoyed a standout performance against his former team, posting 19 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and four blocks as Milwaukee defeated Oklahoma City 110-93.

Oklahoma City, missing Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams, was led by Isaiah Joe’s 17 points and Chet Holmgren’s 16 points and 13 rebounds.

Milwaukee pulled away in the third quarter, holding the Thunder to 16 points to build a 16-point cushion entering the fourth before extending the lead to as many as 24.
