The Memphis Grizzlies are adding veteran guard Eric Gordon, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania, in a deal that also involves a 2032 second-round pick swap.
Gordon, a 17-year NBA veteran, has played a limited role for the Philadelphia 76ers this season, averaging 5.5 points per game and shooting 57.1% overall. He last appeared in a game on December 23 and has primarily served as a mentor to the team’s younger guards, including VJ Edgecombe and Tyrese Maxey.
The move comes as the Grizzlies continue to reshape their roster at the trade deadline. Memphis has been active in recent days, including the notable trade of former All-Star and Kia Defensive Player of the Year Jaren Jackson Jr. to the Utah Jazz.
