Kasparas Jakucionis couldn’t miss and the Miami Heat didn’t let up, rolling past the Washington Wizards 132-101 on Sunday night.

Jakucionis was a perfect 6-for-6 from beyond the arc on his way to 22 points, matching Bam Adebayo for the team lead. Norman Powell added 21 points, while Kel’el Ware delivered a strong night inside with 19 points and 14 rebounds as Miami snapped a two-game skid in emphatic fashion.

The Heat erased an early nine-point deficit and seized control before halftime, closing the second quarter on a surge that built a 74-52 advantage. Miami dominated the glass in the opening half, outrebounding Washington 36-22, then put the game out of reach by forcing 10 turnovers in the third quarter and stretching the lead to 107-75.

Andrew Wiggins chipped in 11 points and 10 rebounds as the Heat, sitting eighth in the Eastern Conference, moved within a half-game of seventh-place Orlando. The 132-point output marked Miami’s 14th game of the season scoring at least 130 points, extending a franchise record.

Tristan Vukcevic led Washington with 14 points, while Alex Sarr finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds. The Wizards dropped back-to-back games for the first time since a nine-game losing streak in January and were further hampered by injuries, with Kyshawn George and Bilal Coulibaly both exiting early.
