Hayes pushed the mascot during pregame introductions prior to Los Angeles’ 142-111 victory over Washington on Jan. 30 at Capital One Arena. The league said the discipline was issued by Executive Vice President and Head of Basketball Operations James Jones.
Hayes will miss the Lakers’ Feb. 5 home game against the Philadelphia 76ers while serving the suspension.
