Precious Achiuwa delivered a career-high 29 points and 12 rebounds, and Maxime Raynaud added 22 as the Kings beat the Mavericks on Thursday night.

Sacramento, coming off a franchise-record 16-game losing streak, has now won two of three. The Kings, who entered averaging an NBA-low 110.1 points per game, poured in 130 — five shy of a season high.

Naji Marshall paced Dallas with a season-high 36 points, along with 10 rebounds and six assists. The Mavericks have dropped 11 of their last 13 games and six straight at home.

Dallas trimmed a 17-point fourth-quarter deficit to 123-121 with 1:56 remaining, but Sacramento closed on a 7-0 run. Achiuwa’s putback off his own miss beat the shot clock and sparked the decisive stretch.

Khris Middleton scored 17 points in his Dallas debut after arriving in a Feb. 5 three-team trade. Both teams were short-handed. The Kings were without Russell Westbrook and Keegan Murray, while Dallas again played without No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg due to a left midfoot sprain.

Up next: The Kings visit the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night. The Mavericks host Memphis on Friday night.
