The Predictors

The Orlando Magic extended their winning streak to four games Sunday night with a dominant 130–91 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Paolo Banchero led the way with 33 points, while Jalen Suggs added 20 and Desmond Bane finished with 18. Orlando controlled the game from the opening tip, never trailing and building a 67–55 halftime lead before pulling away in the second half.

The Magic blew the game open early in the fourth quarter. Suggs sparked a 12–0 run with a three-pointer that stretched Orlando’s advantage to 26 points. Banchero had already done most of his damage by then, heading to the bench for good late in the third quarter with the Magic ahead by 31.

The win kept Orlando sixth in the Eastern Conference, sitting one game behind the Toronto Raptors for fifth place and just ahead of the Miami Heat in the standings.

Milwaukee played without star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was rested during the second game of a back-to-back after the Bucks defeated the Utah Jazz on Saturday night. Antetokounmpo has appeared in only three games since missing 15 straight with a right calf strain and has sat out 30 games this season, the most of his 13-year career.

Bobby Portis recorded 18 points and 10 rebounds, and Cam Thomas added 17 points for Milwaukee, which has now lost five of its last six. The Bucks were also without Kevin Porter Jr. for a third straight game because of swelling in his right knee.

Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Giannis’ older brother, logged a season-high nine minutes and finished with four points.

The loss leaves Milwaukee 11th in the Eastern Conference, 4½ games behind the Charlotte Hornets for the final play-in spot with 19 games remaining.
