Paolo Banchero delivered 31 points and 12 rebounds, Anthony Black added 26, and the Orlando Magic pulled away late to beat the Miami Heat 133-124 on Wednesday night, snapping a four-game losing streak.

Desmond Bane scored 23 points on 10-of-16 shooting and Jalen Suggs added 16 for Orlando, which improved to 3-0 against Miami this season. The Magic finished with 36 assists and knocked down 16 of 38 3-pointers.

Simone Fontecchio led the Heat with 23 points in just 19 minutes off the bench. Norman Powell scored 22 and Bam Adebayo finished with 21 for Miami, which played without Tyler Herro (ribs) and Davion Mitchell (shoulder). Orlando was again without Franz Wagner, who missed his fourth straight game with a left ankle sprain.

After trailing by nine at halftime, the Magic flipped the game in the third quarter, outscoring Miami 40-20 behind 13 points from Banchero and 10 from Black. Orlando forced seven turnovers and dominated the offensive glass 7-1 in the period to take control.

The Magic extended the surge into the fourth with a 14-0 run, building a 121-104 lead with 5:47 remaining. Miami made a late push and cut the deficit to 128-122 on Powell’s three-point play with 1:25 left, but Banchero and Suggs each hit two free throws in the final minute to seal the win.

Miami had erased a 14-point Orlando lead late in the first quarter and surged ahead by outscoring the Magic by 16 in the second. Fontecchio scored 14 points in the quarter, including three 3-pointers, as the Heat took a 68-59 lead into halftime.

Tipoff was delayed seven minutes due to an uneven rim.
