Orlando Magic 115, Dallas Mavericks 114

Wendell Carter Jr. rose for a go-ahead dunk with 1.4 seconds remaining, lifting the Orlando Magic over the Dallas Mavericks 115–114 on Thursday night. Cooper Flagg, returning from an eight-game absence, scored 18 points in 26 minutes for Dallas, while Jalen Suggs added 17 points and seven assists for Orlando. Tristan da Silva led the Magic with 19 points, and Paolo Banchero posted a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. The Mavericks dropped their 15th game in 17 contests, despite Klay Thompson’s 24 points off the bench and Khris Middleton’s 10 fourth-quarter points.

Utah Jazz 122, Washington Wizards 112

Rookie Ace Bailey erupted for 32 points, 21 of them in the first half, powering the Utah Jazz past the Washington Wizards 122–112. Bailey also knocked down seven 3-pointers to surpass his previous career high. Cooper Flagg’s former teammate Cade Cunningham led the Wizards with 26 points, while Isaiah Stewart added 18. Juju Reese recorded a 20-rebound performance, marking the highest total by a rookie this season and the first 20-rebound rookie game for Washington since 1993. Utah snapped a three-game skid and improved to 15–5 on March 5, known locally as “305 Day.”

Miami Heat 126, Brooklyn Nets 110

Tyler Herro scored 25 points and Bam Adebayo added 21 as the Miami Heat defeated the Brooklyn Nets 126–110, extending Brooklyn’s losing streak to 10 games. Jaime Jaquez Jr. scored 18 for Miami, while Pelle Larsson and Kel’el Ware each added 16, with Ware recording 11 rebounds and seven blocks. Michael Porter Jr. led the Nets with 27 points, joined by Noah Clowney’s 17 and Nic Claxton’s 16. Miami dominated the second half and bench scoring, outscoring Brooklyn 54–34 and shooting 53% from the field.

Golden State Warriors 115, Houston Rockets 113 (OT)

Brandon Podziemski scored 26 points and De’Anthony Melton added 23 as the Golden State Warriors survived a 115–113 overtime thriller against the Houston Rockets. The Warriors overcame late free-throw drama in overtime, including Melton’s tip-in with 5.3 seconds left. Al Horford contributed 17 points while Stephen Curry missed his 12th straight game due to a knee injury. Rookie Reed Sheppard led Houston with 30 points, including six 3-pointers, and Kevin Durant added 23 points in the loss.

Minnesota Timberwolves 115, Toronto Raptors 107

Anthony Edwards scored 22 points, including a highlight two-handed dunk over RJ Barrett, as the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Toronto Raptors 115–107. Edwards also had nine rebounds and five assists. Rudy Gobert added 18 points and 12 rebounds, Julius Randle had 17, and Donte DiVincenzo chipped in 16. Barrett led Toronto with 25 points, while Immanuel Quickley contributed 18. Minnesota extended its winning streak to five games and moved one game ahead of Houston for third place in the Western Conference.

San Antonio Spurs 121, Detroit Pistons 106

Victor Wembanyama dominated with 38 points, 16 rebounds, and five blocks as the San Antonio Spurs completed a sweep of the Detroit Pistons, winning 121–106. De’Aaron Fox scored 29 points, while Stephon Castle added 11 points and 12 assists. Cade Cunningham had 26 points for Detroit and Isaiah Stewart scored 18. The Spurs have now won 13 of their last 14 games and remain second in the Western Conference, controlling the game from start to finish.

Chicago Bulls 105, Phoenix Suns 103

Collin Sexton scored 30 points to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 105–103 victory over the Phoenix Suns, snapping a 11-game losing streak. Tre Jones added 21 points and Guerschon Yabusele contributed 16 for Chicago. Devin Booker scored 27 for Phoenix, with Grayson Allen adding 21 points. Jalen Green struggled, finishing 5-of-20 from the field and 1-of-8 from three. The Bulls survived a late Suns rally to take their second win in three games.

Denver Nuggets 120, Los Angeles Lakers 113

LeBron James broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s career field-goal record, but the Los Angeles Lakers fell 120–113 to the Denver Nuggets. James scored 16 points with several highlight baskets before leaving briefly with a left elbow injury. Luka Dončić led the Lakers with 27 points. Nikola Jokić recorded his 23rd triple-double of the season with 28 points, 12 rebounds, and 13 assists, while Jamal Murray scored 28. Denver controlled much of the game, overcoming injuries to key players including Aaron Gordon and Peyton Watson.

New Orleans Pelicans 133, Sacramento Kings 123

Zion Williamson scored 23 points on 10-of-14 shooting and added nine rebounds, while Trey Murphy III contributed 21 as the New Orleans Pelicans beat the Sacramento Kings 133–123. Saddiq Bey added 20 points for the Pelicans. Precious Achiuwa had 29 points and 12 rebounds, and Russell Westbrook added 19 points and 10 assists for Sacramento. The Pelicans built a 14-point third-quarter lead thanks to a 15–0 run, snapping a two-game losing streak.
