The Dallas Mavericks snapped a five-game losing streak Friday night, using a balanced scoring effort led by Marvin Bagley III and Cooper Flagg to top the Portland Trail Blazers 100-93.

Bagley came off the bench to post a season-high 26 points on 11-of-14 shooting, including 3-of-5 from three, while adding nine rebounds. Flagg added 24 points and four steals, and Naji Marshall contributed 19 points and five steals, helping Dallas rebound from a 142-135 loss at Denver earlier in the week.

Portland, which had won five of its previous six games to climb back to .500, was paced by Jrue Holiday with 23 points and Deni Avdija with 20 points and nine rebounds. Donovan Clingan hauled in 17 rebounds but added just six points. The Trail Blazers fell to 37-38 and had their two-game winning streak halted.

The game was tied at 92 with 2:25 remaining after Holiday drained a three-pointer, but Dallas closed the game on an 8-1 run. Bagley opened the stretch with a layup and a dunk, while Marshall and Brandon Williams combined for four key free throws to seal the win.
