The NBA has revealed the participants for the 2026 State Farm 3-Point Contest, set for Saturday, Feb. 14 at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif., kicking off NBA All-Star Saturday at 5 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.
The eight-player field features a mix of stars and sharpshooters: Devin Booker (Phoenix Suns), Kon Knueppel (Charlotte Hornets), Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers), Tyrese Maxey (Philadelphia 76ers), Donovan Mitchell (Cleveland Cavaliers), Jamal Murray (Denver Nuggets), Bobby Portis Jr. (Milwaukee Bucks), and Norman Powell (Miami Heat). Five of the participants—Booker, Maxey, Mitchell, Murray, and Powell—are 2026 NBA All-Stars.
The competition also highlights two former State Farm 3-Point Contest winners: Booker, who won in 2018, and Lillard, a two-time champion in 2023 and 2024. A victory in Inglewood would allow Lillard, a nine-time All-Star, to join Larry Bird and Craig Hodges as a three-time winner of the event.
Four players will make their 3-Point Contest debuts: Knueppel, Maxey, Murray, and Portis, with Knueppel having a chance to become the first rookie to claim the crown.
The contest follows a two-round format. In the opening round, each player has 70 seconds to rack up points from multiple 3-point stations. The top three scorers advance to the championship round, where the highest total determines the winner.
