Jarace Walker scored 23 points and Kam Jones buried a go-ahead 3-pointer with 16 seconds remaining as the short-handed Indiana Pacers rallied past the Brooklyn Nets 115-110 on Wednesday night.
Playing without eight key contributors — including Pascal Siakam, Andrew Nembhard, Aaron Nesmith, T.J. McConnell and Ivica Zubac — the Pacers secured their second straight win after snapping a four-game skid in overtime at New York the night before.
Indiana trailed early, falling behind 31-18 after the first quarter and 64-53 at halftime. But the Pacers flipped the game in the fourth, outscoring Brooklyn 31-20 to seize control late.
With the game hanging in the balance, Jones connected from beyond the arc with 16 seconds left to give Indiana the lead for good.
Micah Potter added 19 points on 6-of-8 shooting and went 6 for 8 at the free-throw line, scoring 14 of his points in the second half. Ethan Thompson chipped in 15.
Nolan Traore led Brooklyn with 20 points, while Day’Ron Sharpe had 19 points and 12 rebounds and Ziaire Williams also scored 19. The Nets, who had won two straight, committed 16 turnovers — six more than Indiana.
