The Predictors

Brandon Ingram scored a game-high 34 points to lead the Toronto Raptors to a 119–108 win over the Detroit Pistons on Sunday, helping Toronto secure back-to-back victories and maintain its hold on sixth place in the Eastern Conference.

RJ Barrett added 27 points and six rebounds for the Raptors, while Jakob Poeltl and Scottie Barnes each recorded double-doubles. Poeltl finished with 21 points and a season-high 18 rebounds, and Barnes contributed 14 points and 10 boards.

Detroit was led by Cade Cunningham, who had 33 points and nine assists as the Pistons’ three-game winning streak came to an end. Jalen Duren added 20 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double, and Tobias Harris chipped in 21 points.

The Pistons came out hot, shooting 64.9 percent in the first half, but their offense stalled in the third quarter when they connected on just 26.9 percent of their shots. Toronto took advantage with one of its strongest defensive performances of the season, overcoming a tough night from beyond the arc.

Ingram helped create separation late in the third quarter, drilling a long 3-pointer with 2:30 remaining to give Toronto a 12-point lead and cap a 9–2 run that swung the momentum.
