Immanuel Quickley matched his career high with 40 points and handed out 10 assists as the Toronto Raptors pulled away early and cruised past the Golden State Warriors 145-127 on Tuesday night.

Quickley was nearly flawless, shooting 11-for-13 from the field and a perfect 11-for-11 at the free-throw line. Scottie Barnes added 26 points and 11 assists as Toronto posted its highest point total of the season and handed Golden State its worst defensive performance of the year.

Brandon Ingram finished with 22 points, five rebounds and five assists, while the Raptors punished the Warriors’ mistakes, scoring 34 points off 18 turnovers.

Buddy Hield led Golden State with season highs of 25 points and six made 3-pointers, connecting on all six attempts from beyond the arc. Stephen Curry scored 16 points after missing his first five 3-point attempts, finally hitting one just before halftime. Draymond Green added six points, six rebounds and five assists.

Toronto built a commanding 70-50 halftime lead as the Warriors shot just 39.6% from the field and 6 of 23 from 3-point range. The Raptors’ 70 first-half points tied the most Golden State has allowed in a half this season.

Playing their first game since losing Jimmy Butler to a season-ending right knee injury, the Warriors inserted Jonathan Kuminga into the rotation for the first time in 17 games. Kuminga responded with 20 points on 7-for-10 shooting and five rebounds in 21 minutes.

Golden State briefly threatened in the fourth quarter when Hield drilled a 3-pointer to cut the deficit to nine with just over five minutes remaining, but Ingram immediately answered with a 3 of his own to halt the rally.

The loss snapped the Warriors’ four-game winning streak and closed an eight-game homestand.
