RJ Barrett scored 21 points and Sandro Mamukelashvili added 20 as the Toronto Raptors opened a five-game homestand with a 107-100 victory over the Utah Jazz on Sunday night.
Brandon Ingram finished with 19 points and Immanuel Quickley had 17 to help Toronto snap a two-game losing streak. Scottie Barnes, named earlier in the day to his second NBA All-Star Game, chipped in 14 points and nine rebounds despite a brief scare late in the fourth quarter. Barnes injured his left foot after a steal with 4:48 remaining, exited moments later, then returned with 3:05 left to help close out the win.
Lauri Markkanen led Utah with 27 points and 11 rebounds, but the Jazz dropped their sixth straight game, their longest losing streak of the season. Isaiah Collier added 19 points, while Jusuf Nurkic posted 11 points and 13 rebounds.
Toronto’s balanced attack proved enough down the stretch as the Raptors matched last season’s win total, reaching 30 victories with 31 games still to play.
