The Predictors

Portland Trail Blazers snapped a two-game losing streak Wednesday night with a 122–114 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies, powered by standout performances from Jrue Holiday and Jerami Grant.

Holiday finished with 35 points and 11 assists, while Grant added 30 points as Portland improved to 30–33 and strengthened its push toward postseason contention. The Trail Blazers pulled away late, outscoring Memphis 24–19 over the final nine minutes to seal the win after entering the night having lost four of their previous six games.

Robert Williams III contributed 20 points and 11 rebounds for Portland. Matisse Thybulle added three rebounds, an assist and a steal while celebrating his 29th birthday.

Memphis received balanced scoring but could not keep pace down the stretch. Jaylen Wells led the Grizzlies with 24 points, and GG Jackson added 20. Forward Olivier-Maxence Prosper, who signed a multi-year contract earlier in the day, finished with 17 points and nine rebounds in his eighth start for Memphis.

The Grizzlies also got contributions from Jahmai Mashack (13 points), Cam Spencer (12 points, seven rebounds and seven assists), Walter Clayton Jr. (12 points) and Javon Small (11 points).

Memphis has now dropped two straight and nine of its last 12 games. The Grizzlies were also playing the second night of a back-to-back after losing to the Minnesota Timberwolves 117–110 on Tuesday.

The team remains without star guard Ja Morant, who missed his 18th consecutive game with a left elbow injury. Rookie center Zach Edey is also out for the season after undergoing surgery on his left ankle earlier this week.
