The Phoenix Suns extended their winning streak Thursday night, defeating the Indiana Pacers 123–108 behind a dominant backcourt performance.
Devin Booker scored 43 points and Jalen Green added 36 as Phoenix won its fourth straight game. The loss was the 11th in a row for Indiana, which owns the NBA’s worst record.
The Suns, currently seventh in the Western Conference, were playing the second game of a six-game road trip after opening it with a victory over Milwaukee earlier in the week.
Booker shot 14 of 31 from the field, knocked down four of seven 3-pointers and went a perfect 11 for 11 from the free-throw line. He also finished with seven rebounds and five assists. Green was highly efficient as well, shooting 14 of 23 from the floor and making three 3-pointers.
Royce O'Neale contributed 15 points for Phoenix, hitting five of his eight attempts from beyond the arc.
Andrew Nembhard led Indiana with 23 points, all of which came in the first half after he entered the game listed as questionable because of a lower-back issue.
Center Ivica Zubac made his Pacers debut and finished with eight points and six rebounds in 16 minutes. Zubac, who had been sidelined since December with a sprained left ankle, joined Indiana in a trade-deadline deal with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Booker set the tone early, scoring 15 points in the first quarter as the teams ended the period tied at 36. He added seven more in the second quarter, helping Phoenix take a 67–61 lead into halftime.
