Stephen Curry scored 31 points, including a clutch step-back 3-pointer with 26 seconds remaining, and added seven rebounds and seven assists to lead the Golden State Warriors past the Milwaukee Bucks 120-113 on Wednesday night.

De’Anthony Melton contributed 22 points off the bench, Jimmy Butler added 21 points and five rebounds, and Al Horford recorded eight points, 10 rebounds and six assists in one of his most complete performances since joining Golden State. Curry shot 12 of 21 from the field with three triples, hitting his first 3-pointer just over four minutes into the first quarter and totaling 14 points by halftime.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 34 points, 10 rebounds and five assists for Milwaukee, while Kevin Porter Jr. added 15 points, nine assists and four rebounds. The Bucks, who had won four of five and were coming off a 115-98 win at Sacramento on Sunday, struggled to overcome Golden State’s hot shooting, as the Warriors made 18 3-pointers despite being out-rebounded 53-42.

The game remained close down the stretch. Giannis’ layup with 4:38 left brought Milwaukee within 10, but Butler answered immediately on the other end. Draymond Green chipped in 14 points and seven assists as the Warriors held on after building a 17-point lead in the third quarter.

Antetokounmpo started strong, making three of his first four shots for seven quick points and finishing 15 of 22 from the field, though he missed five of seven free throws. Milwaukee has now lost six straight at Golden State’s Chase Center, dating back to a win on Jan. 8, 2020. The season series between the teams is now split, with the Bucks winning 120-110 in their first matchup on Oct. 30.
