Gui Santos scored a career-high 31 points and Draymond Green sank two clutch free throws with 6.9 seconds left as the Warriors held off the Nets 109-106 on Wednesday to clinch a play-in spot.

Brandin Podziemski added 22 points, six rebounds, and five assists, while Kristaps Porziņģis contributed 17 points and De’Anthony Melton hit two late free throws to seal the win. This marked Golden State’s first victory at Chase Center since returning from a 2-4 road trip, and their first home win over Brooklyn since Dec. 16, 2023.

Brooklyn was paced by Ziaire Williams with 19 points, while Jalen Wilson added 15 off the bench and Ben Saraf chipped in 14 points and seven rebounds. The Nets, however, fell to nine straight losses after leading most of the game and holding a halftime edge of 58-50.

The Warriors, still without injured star Stephen Curry, struggled early with 15 turnovers in the first two quarters and inconsistent offense. Brooklyn, meanwhile, started slowly, missing 10 of their first 15 shots before Williams helped spark the early lead.

Golden State mounted a third-quarter rally, pulling within 63-62 midway through the period before the Nets’ Powell hit back-to-back three-pointers to extend Brooklyn’s advantage. The Warriors wore down Brooklyn in the fourth, holding the Nets to just 8-of-20 shooting (2-of-9 from three) down the stretch.

The sellout crowd at Chase Center marked the franchise’s 600th consecutive sellout, the sixth-longest streak in NBA history.
