The Washington Wizards closed strong Thursday night, using a decisive fourth-quarter surge to defeat the Indiana Pacers 112-105 and snap a three-game losing streak.

Bub Carrington and Anthony Gill each scored 13 points, igniting a 14-0 run late in the fourth quarter that broke open a tight contest. Kadary Richmond and Jaden Hardy also finished with 13 apiece, while Bilal Coulibaly and Tristan Vukcevic added 12 each in the first of a back-to-back set between the two teams.

Washington appeared in control early in the second half, building a 17-point lead in the third quarter. Indiana responded with a 14-3 run to seize a 92-91 advantage early in the fourth, briefly swinging momentum.

But the Wizards answered emphatically. Gill sparked the late push with a layup, and Carrington followed with a 17-foot jumper and a 3-pointer from the top of the arc. Gill capped the spurt with a baseline 3 that stretched the lead to 110-97, effectively sealing the win.

Jarace Walker led Indiana with 19 points and 13 rebounds. Taelon Peter added 16 points, while Jay Huff and Ben Sheppard scored 15 each. The Pacers, now 2-3 on their season-long six-game road trip, also lost guards Kam Jones (back soreness) and Aaron Nesmith (ankle sprain) before halftime.
