Player Updates

New York Giants QB Daniel Jones suffered an ankle injury in last Sundays game. Though Coach Brian Daboll wouldn't comment on the type of Ankle injury, video analysis did l have many worried about the possibility of a high ankle injury. Our injury analyst Dr. Matthew Provencher has commented that it is possible that he may have components of both a high and low meaning that the ligaments involved in both types of ankle sprains could be involved. The good news is that there are different types of severity and it would seem that Jones has those consisting of a moderate sprain.

More good news is that the QB was practicing with the team during the media portion of the practice on Wednesday including both team and individual player drills. This is a promising sign and the Giants are optimistic that he may be able to play as early as this Sunday in London.

Update: Daniel Jones has been improving throughout the week. He has been participating in practice and trending in a positive direction. Giants didn't sign a new QB which is a positive sign as well. He looks to be headed in the direction of playing in London this weekend.
