Waiver Wire Week 8

Week 8 NFL Waiver Wire picks are in! If injuries hurt your team this week, the options here could be the lift you need to get a W this time around. Last Weeks picks: QB - I didn't do owners much good this week. Heinickie QB 14, Mariota QB 18, Ryan QB 21. Not only was Ryan bad he was benched for the rest of the season or until the new guy gets hurt. Ouch. RB - All my RB picks were terrible. Murray was my best at RB 28, primarily due to a lucky TD. Drake and Jackson were basically non-existent. WR - I had one solid WR pick, Juju, coming in at WR 4. Aiyuk was a respectable WR 19. Anderson is a wait-and-see this week, as he wasn't involved after the trade. TE - Did I pick one? Oh, that's right, he did nothing. Hopefully, this week will be better!  QB:

  1. Sam Ehlinger - Hard to see how things can get worse in Indy, so if you are hurting with a bye week QB, he will probably be on the waivers as he was on nobody's radar before this week.
  2. P.J. Walker - Not only did he log QB 12 numbers last week. He beat Tom Brady. This was also after CMac was traded. I should have him as #1, but he already has a decent chance of being gone.
  3. Daniel Jones - See above. He is probably owned, but if not, grab him. I would consider trading for him after his QB 4 performance last week.

RB:

  1. Gus Edwards - My #1 pick last week got smoked by Edwards, who came back from out of the blue off IR and dogged RB 9 numbers. There is no way anyone owns him, so grab him while you can.
  2. Carolina RBs - Foreman RB 17 and Hubbard RB 18 last week are worth grabbing. It's hard to say whether it will be a share or if one will emerge. My guess is that Foreman is more likely to be on waivers.
  3. Michael Carter - For about 5 seconds, he was the hot pickup, but then the Jets traded for Robinson with the Jags. I think he is still worth a pickup but maybe not a contributor until we see what the Jets do with Robinson.

WR:

  1. Marquise Goodwin - Goodwin had a big day for Seattle in a beat down of the Chargers, ending up WR 6. Geno is the real deal, and DK Metcalf could be out for an extended time.
  2. Paris Campbell - WR 5 last week, and I should probably have him as pick 1 but who is Sam Ehlinger?
  3. Mecole Hardman - With so many weapons in KC, it's hard to get excited about guys not named Kielce, but he showed up this week with a massive game and WR 2 numbers. If he is on the wire, I would stash him.

TE:

  1. Greg Dulcich - The Tenn. rookie came in as TE 7 last week. If your TE has a bye, he might be worth a flier.
