Playoffs are approaching!! We are getting closer and those needed wins could be the difference maker. Make sure to check out who could give you some possible big upside this week. Last Weeks picks: QB - Carr has been playing great and rewarded with a QB 9 performance. Tannehill had an off game at QB 24 and Dalton was bad at QB 30. RB - Perine, covering for Mixon was solid with RB 10 numbers. Murray was pretty mediocre at RB 29 and Cook was terrible at RB 57. WR - All my WR picks were bad but I do think Burks will have some good days ahead. Burks was WR 48, Palmer WR 47 and Dortch didn’t get past his injury to play. TE - Johnson was horrible, missing targets and throwing up a ZERO fantasy point effort. One thing to note for Keeper and Dynasty folks, this is the time to grab the future. This week I made a bet on Jordan Love for next year with my waiver pick. QB:
- Deshaun Watson - This is not really a waiver pick for me. If he is available on your wire, the whole league is asleep and grab him. He hasn’t played in forever so it could be an ugly first week but no question he has talent.
- Mike White - Who knew? White was great last week, leading to a win and a QB 5 performance. I like the Jets and their weapons so he could be a good choice for the next two weeks before playoffs.
- Jordan Love - Love came in late for Rodgers and he looked electrifying. He may not even play this week so he comes with risk but for Keeper and Dynasty he is a grab and stash guy.
- Trevor Lawrence - All year long I have felt this was the year he would show his promise. He is starting to but he can still be inconsistent. Last weeks QB 4 performance makes the cash to get him if you can.
RB:
- Zonovan Knight - He is the hot pick this week but could crash back to earth depending on injuries in the Jet’s backfield. But for people making a playoff run, this is the kind of opportunity you pay up for.
- Benny Snell - I am honestly not a Snell fan but with the injuries to Harris and Warren he might be worth a flier. I am sure he is on your waiver too!
- Jamycal Hasty - Same as Snell. Hasty was RB 9 last week so he is a good play but there are a lot of unknowns including the team claiming the Etienne injury is not a lisfranc.
WR:
- Zay Jones - See Lawrence above. Jones has been the on again off again WR of choice. At this point in the season he is a grab again.
- Richie James - I have avoided picking him up in deep leagues all season. Somebody has to catch balls in NY. Definitely worth a flier.
- Van Jefferson - It’s hard to say who is gonna be playing on any given week with the injury issues with Allen and Williams but he is worth a go, especially if you know one of those two are out.
TE:
- Jelani Woods - I have been high on him all season and have him in deep leagues. Last week he was TE 2. Indy is a not consistent so buyer beware, but Woods is a legit end zone target.
