    Arizona gets their starters back

The Arizona Cardinals have announced that Kyler Murray will be starting on Sunday. They also activated James Connor from the IR, saying that he will start Sunday as well.

    Kyler Murray Update

Kyler Murray is playing for the first time in 10 months after recovering from a torn ACL. He will most likely play the rest of the season for Arizona as he works to get back into game shape.

The Cardinals traded Josh Dobbs, their starter for the beginning of the season, to the Vikings just before they finally activated Murray.

This year will be Kyler Murray’s fifth season in the NFL. Before tearing his ACL in his 11th game last season, he had only missed 3 games, all in 2021.

Murray has also been a very good quarterback throughout his young career. In his first four years, he has thrown for 13,848 yards and 84 touchdowns. He has also rushed for another 2,204 yards and 23 touchdowns. Running is a big part of his game, so hopefully he will be able to return to his past self before his injury.

    James Connor Update

James Connor is just coming back from the IR after suffering an injury against the Bengals on October 8th.

Before his injury, he had rushed for 364 yards and 2 touchdowns in 5 games. He will be starting on Sunday over Keontay Ingram and Emari Demercado, who both struggled while he was absent.

    Summary

James Connor and Kyler Murray will look to help the Cardinals win some games down the road. Sitting at 1-8 on the season, the playoffs are essentially out of the picture for them. It is still important to get them both back and touching the ball for next season though.

The Cardinals have yet to win a game on the road and currently hold the number 2 pick in the 2024 NFL draft. They will most likely continue to battle the Panthers(Now the Chicago Bears’ pick) for the number 1 pick in the draft.
