    Daniel Jones Knee Injury

Giants QB Daniel Jones suffered an injury at the end of the 1st quarter in their game against the Raiders. He tried to play through it however on the next play he fell while trying to drop back. The medical staff was out there immediately to talk to Jones and he was taken to the locker room.

From video analysis our medical expert Sports Doc Matt said that he is concerned for an ACL tear with possible meniscus involvement. Based on how his mechanics and then the giving out during drop back there is serious concern for the season ending ligament injury. Dr. Matt sis of course say that more imaging will be required it looks as though his knee shifted. His ability to walk off the field can be very misleading as you can often walk after an ACL tear.

With Tyrod Taylor out with his Rib injury Tommy DeVito came in at QB and will remain so until Taylor is healthy enough to take the field if Jones does in fact have an ACL tear as suspected. A big hit for the Giants who seem to fighting the injury battle on multiple fronts and have a Banged Up Score of 69.8 out of 100. This could send the team spiraling further down and will force the Giants to rely heavily on running back Saquon Barkley.
