De'Von Achane Knee Injury
Dolphins rookie sensation De’Von Achane is expected to be out for several weeks after suffering a knee injury against the Giants.
With De’Von Achane now being an injured reserve candidate due to his knee injury, the team is expected to open the window for RB Jeff Wilson Jr. to start practicing this week, per source. https://t.co/IgPxRhXCVi

Achane, the number 84 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft has caught fire over the last few weeks and has been one of the best backs in the league. He is not expected to be out for the season, but multiple weeks is likely and the IR is entirely possible.
Achane Quick Start to Career
After the rookie was eased into the season coming off a shoulder injury in the preseason, he exploded for 233 total yards and 4 touchdowns against the Denver Broncos in Week 3. He played a major role in the Dolphins hitting 70 points.
Against Buffalo, Achane had another 100-yard performance on the ground and also found the endzone two more times. Before his injury against the Giants, he was having another huge game, already tallying 151 yards and a touchdown.
Achane is leading the league in total yards per carry, averaging 12.1 yards. He is also second in the league in total rushing yards, and fourth in rushing touchdowns. It is safe to say that Achane was off to a great start in his career.
Raheem Mostert Takeover
With the Achane injury, Raheem Mostert will likely see more touches than he already has. Despite the production from Achane, Mostert has been very productive himself and still leads the team in touches.
Mostert has also had several huge weeks himself, including a four-touchdown performance against Denver as well.Mostert is also leading the league in total rushing touchdowns with seven, so he will look to improve this tally while Achane recovers from his knee injury.

Behind Mostert will likely be another rookie, Chris Brooks, or Salvon Ahmed. It is possible that Jeff Wilson Jr. will get activated off of the IR this week, but either way, Mostert will be getting the large majority of the carries.
Dolphins Summary
Losing Achane could be a huge blow for the Dolphins' offense, but they have plenty of other explosive playmakers. Wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle are two of the fastest in the league and will produce with Tua Tagovailoa throwing the ball to him. Mostert will most likely continue to find success as well and will add to his touchdown total while Achane is gone.
Overall, the Dolphins still have plenty of big-time playmakers, but will be losing a very explosive player over the next few weeks. I expect them to continue to put up good numbers on offense despite Achane being out.
