Bryce Young Debut
Bryce Young, the number overall 1 pick in the NFL draft this year, made his debut against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. The Falcons downed the Panthers 24-10, and limited Young all game.
Young threw 38 times, completing 20 of his attempts, and completed his first career touchdown pass to Hayden Hurst. He had 146 passing yards and 17 rushing yards on three attempts. He also threw for two interceptions, which both led to the Falcons scoring points.
Bryce Young looked calm all throughout the afternoon though, even after his interceptions. This is a good sign for the rookie as he will only continue to progress as he sees the field more.
C.J. Stroud Debut
C.J. Stroud made his debut against the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens were able to keep the Stroud and the Texans out of the endzone on their way to a 25-9 victory
The number 2 overall pick went 28/44 through the air, tallying 242 total yards. He also added 20 yards on four carries. Stroud also completed his first NFL pass to himself off a deflection at the line of scrimmage. Stroud and the Texans did however fail to find the endzone in week one.
C.J. Stroud had a pretty good NFL debut, and the Texans will look to build off this game. There are lots of positives to take out of this game and improve as the season goes on, but the Texans will have to find ways to score.
Anthony Richardson Debut
Anthony Richardson debuted against his divisional rival, the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Colts rookie was the only one to make his debut at home, but it ended the same as his rookie counterparts. The Jaguars took down the Colts 31-21 in Indianapolis.
Richardson completed 24 passes on 37 attempts and had 223 yards through the air. He also threw his first career touchdown to Michael Pittman on a 2nd and 27 screen pass. Richardson also led the Colts in rushing, going for 40 yards and a touchdown on 10 attempts.

Despite throwing an interception late in the 4th quarter which led to a Jaguars touchdown, Richardson looked very good in his debut. He also did get banged up at the end of the game after taking a hit on a first and goal rushing attempt, but he and the Colts are not concerned about it
Summary
Overall, the rookie quarterbacks that debuted all showed their potential, and will hope to have more success as the season goes on. Rookie quarterbacks historically do not have a very good week 1 record, so there is nothing for the fans to worry about.
