The city of Philadelphia will need to keep their traffic and light poles greased as the Eagles booked their ticket to Arizona after a 31-7 win over the 49ers. The Eagles went into the game as one of the healthiest of the 4 remaining teams in the playoffs. With all 22 starters being able to take the field they had a 81 Banged Up Score (BUS) ranking whilst the 49ers had a 74.2 BUS ranking. A 6 point health swing is huge when you get this far into the playoffs as talent starts to equalize as does additional factors that can mean more during the year.
Some may feel that The Eagles should have been ranked higher with all their starters playing. However, you must remember that 7 players were on IR for a variety of reasons and some active players were still dealing with injuries including QB Jalen Hurts and OT Lane Johnson. It didn’t slow down The Eagles at all however, who showed off just how good they can be.
#Eagles LG Landon Dickerson suffered a hyperextension of his right elbow, but an MRI on Monday came back negative and he is expected to play in the Super Bowl, NFL sources said.
He will likely wear a brace on his elbow during practice and in the game.

During the game, OG Landon Dickerson suffered an elbow injury that is being reported as a hyper extended elbow. An injury that severe enough has caused multiple players to miss games. Luckily for Dickerson and The Eagles, his MRI was negative, and it is looking as though he will be able to play in the Super Bowl. This again means that The Eagles will most likely be with all their starters for the big game and have time to heal over the next two weeks.
This time they face a competitor who was banged up last game but will also have time to recuperate. Last weekend, even with Mahomes and Kelce’s injuries the Chiefs were also at an 81 health according to the rankings. This means that we could have a game with two teams who are very similar in overall health condition. An excellent start to a what could be an excellent Super Bowl.
