After returning from a torn ACL ten months ago, Buffalo Bills CB Tre' Devious White suffered a torn Achilles in the Bills Week 4 statement win against the Miami Dolphins.

"You watch him and how hard he's worked to get back. I know how strong he is, and you know he will rebound," said Bills Head Coach Sean McDermott.

White was Coach McDermott's first draft pick in 2017, and since then, White has recorded 81 games played, totaling 18 interceptions, two Pro Bowl Seasons, and was named first team all pro in 2019.

While all eyes were on the return of Bills CB Damar Hamlin, who suffered cardiac arrest against the Cincinnati Bengals in January 2023, the Bills have not forgotten about White's impact on Buffalo's defense.

"He personifies what it is to be a Buffalo Bill. His family is tremendous," an emotional McDermott said. "And he works as hard as anybody I've ever been around. And I love him.

Hopefully, Buffalo will rally around White the same way they supported Hamlin in his 2023 injury and will be able to continue their three-game win streak against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 5.
