    SNF

The San Francisco 49ers continue to show the rest of the NFL that they will be the team to beat in the playoffs after another commanding win on Sunday night in Levi Stadium. San Francisco whooped the visiting Dallas Cowboys 42-10, resulting in Brock Purdy now going 10-0 as a starter in the regular season. Purdy continued to show his poise as he went 17/24 for 252 yards and 4 touchdowns before being pulled with 12:50 left in the fourth quarter. Purdy shredded Dallas’s defense through precise touch passes causing the Cowboys defense to be chasing shadows all night. George Kittle thrived off of Purdy’s accuracy, hauling in only 3 catches for 73 yards with all three catches resulting in touchdowns. Kittle only having three catches but finding paydirt three times symbolizes how easy the 49ers offense was able to find mismatches in coverage and exploit them more times than not.  Star running back Christian McCaffery was also able to find the endzone for the 18th consecutive game to further affirm the 49ers are the most complete team in the league at the moment. The 49ers have now won 14 straight regular season games, the longest streak in the NFL. San Francisco will try to keep their perfect season alive as they travel to Cleveland to face the 2-2 Browns.

The 49ers defense had a field day to further humiliate Cowboys fans as Dak Prescott went 14/24 for 153 yards, 1 touchdown, and 3 interceptions. Dak would be pulled with a little less than eight minutes left in the fourth after Jordan Mason scrambled for a 26 yard touchdown, adding to the 49ers lead to make it 42-10. Dak Prescott continues to struggle in primetime games after getting embarrassed through his decision making after throwing three terrible picks in their 32 point loss. Prescott knows that his time is ticking in Dallas if he cannot produce a consistent competitive product and with this monkey on his back Prescott is pressured to force the issue even more. I am not making excuses for poor awareness, lack of ability to read coverages, or maybe just inadequate ability but maybe the spotlight in Big D is too bright for Prescott. Either way the Cowboys now can come back to earth knowing they have a long way to go until they can compete with the 49ers. They will look to right major wrongs next week as they travel to Sofi Stadium for a date with the 2-2 LA Chargers.
