The San Francisco 49ers have been fighting injuries since the beginning of preseason, and suffered another big loss sunday.
The main headline of this week's new injuries is starting defensive tackle Javon Hargrave, who will likely be out for the rest of the season. Hargrave suffered partial tears in his right bicep which will require surgery.

Hargrave is in his ninth NFL season and is in his second year with the 49ers. Last year, he recorded seven sacks, eight tackles for losses, and 44 total tackles.
More news that came out of San Francisco Monday is Christian McCaffrey receiving treatment in Germany. McCaffrey has been out since late July with what was originally a calf strain, but then was later named achilles tendonitis.
And to top it off, 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey is seeing a specialist in Germany regarding his Achilles tendinitis.

McCaffrey missed the 49ers Week 1 matchup against the Jets, and then was placed on the injury reserved list just before their Week 2 game. There is currently no timetable on McCaffrey’s possible return, but as of now it does not look the best.
San Francisco's starting quarterback Brock Purdy has also popped up onto the injury report, but is not expected to miss any games. Purdy reportedly had back soreness, but an MRI revealed that there was no damage done. Purdy is considered to be day-to-day.
#49ers injury updates:

-- SF DT Javon Hargrave has a partially torn triceps, per coach Kyle Shanahan. He'll likely miss. the regular season. Shanahan had said he believed it was a bruise initially.
-- SF QB Brock Purdy is day-to-day with back soreness. MRI was clean.
The 49ers are still fighting many more injuries, such as Deebo Samuel (calf), George Kittle (Hamstring) and more.
Despite a tough loss to the Rams, the 49ers have to regroup and bounce back against the Patriots in Week 4. Jauan Jennings had a very impressive showing on Sunday, but was not enough to get the job done. If he can continue to shine in the pass game, as well as Jordan Mason in the running game, the Niners will continue to win games and stay in the playoff conversation as their team continues to recover from all their injuries.
