As we reach the season’s stretch, redraft managers are making moves to win now, but for Dynasty players, it’s all about setting up for next year and beyond. Here are some potential waiver adds that could give you a serious edge in 2025.
💥 QB Trey Lance
With Dak Prescott potentially headed to IR, Trey Lance could be a sneaky stash. While Cooper Rush may step in, it’s hard to imagine Jerry Jones not giving Lance a shot to see if he’s worth investing in long-term. Lance has yet to secure a starting role, but at his young age, he’s a low-cost, high-reward player who could surprise if he gets a chance.
Who should be QB1 for the Cowboys with Dak Prescott out? 🤔

💥 RB Trey Benson
Trey Benson, a 22-year-old 3rd-round pick, saw his first action this past week and could be in line for more carries moving forward. Benson was a powerhouse at FSU and, if things align, could turn into a workhorse back in Arizona’s high-powered offense. Stash him now and see if he can build a role for himself.
💥 WR Ricky Pearsall
Rookie Ricky Pearsall had a delayed debut with the 49ers, but with all the injuries in San Francisco, he’s going to see targets down the stretch. With a 1st-round draft grade and a standout college career, Pearsall has the pedigree to be a solid contributor. If he’s available, make a move—he could be a great value piece.
"I wouldn't be surprised if by the end of the season we look at \\[Ricky] Pearsall as WR1 \\[on the 49ers]"

💥 TE Theo Johnson
Theo Johnson might already be rostered, but if he’s available, he’s worth an add. Johnson has developed faster than expected and looked strong last week in a struggling Giants offense. He’s a future-focused pickup who could pay off big in year 2 or 3.
💥 IDP LB Malik Harrison
The 5th-year LB Malik Harrison had a strong Week 9, even though he’s buried on the depth chart. A 3rd-round pick from Ohio State, Harrison showed he can produce when given the chance. He’s likely on waivers in most leagues and could be a great add for deep IDP teams looking for upside.
📈 Dynasty is about building for tomorrow. Now’s the time to start collecting assets and planning for the future!
