Elliott is back with Dallas after one season with the New England Patriots, in which he finished with 184 carries for 642 yards and three touchdowns -- a career-low 3.5 yards per carry. He split time in the Patriots backfield with Rhamondre Stevenson.
Elliott recorded his best statistical season in his rookie season, 322 carries for 1,631 yards and 15 touchdowns, one of his four seasons with 10+ touchdowns. While Elliott was not RB1 in New England, his return to Dallas may gain him more carries, as Cowboys fans are excited for the return of their former running back.
