One of Atlanta's newest wideouts, former Arizona Cardinals WR Rondale Moore, has been placed on injury reserve and is listed as out for the season after suffering a season-ending knee injury on Wednesday, August 7, in a joint practice with the Miami Dolphins.

Moore is new to the Falcons roster after being acquired in the offseason for former Falcons quarterback Desmond Ridder. In his final season with Arizona, Moore caught 40 passes for 352 yards and one touchdown, a career low in receiving yards and catches. Moore was looking to bounce back with Atlanta in the final year of his rookie contract, but it seems Moore will not be able to redeem himself with his new team.
While Moore is a devastating loss for the Falcons, with the additional talent brought in at the quarterback position in the offseason, including veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins and the No. 8 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, Michael Penix, expect Atlanta receivers Kyle Pitts and Drake London to see more targets.
