Today marked the end of the career of journeyman quarterback Nick Foles as he announced his retirement from the NFL. Foles, who started his career in Philadelphia, returned and brought the franchise a Super Bowl during an improbable run in the 2018 season. The run was most known for the "Philly Special," where Foles caught a touchdown on 4th and goal with under 40 seconds to go in the half. His run in Philadelphia was remarkable; that whole city will never forget it. He will retire as an Eagle and will be present at the team's home opener versus the Falcons.
Ending it where it all started.

Along with two stints in Philadelphia, Foles bounced around to five other teams, including the St. Louis Rams, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Chicago Bears, and finished his career with the Indianapolis Colts. Most notably known for signing a 4-year 88 million dollar contract with the Jaguars post-Super Bowl run with the Eagles. But, the vision never panned out as the Foles got hurt early in the first game of the season and would only start four games for the Jaguars before being traded to the Bears in the offseason. The career backup had a solid ten-year campaign and will always be remembered fondly by Eagles fans.
