The Washington Commanders dominated the Arizona Cardinals Sunday, winning by a score of 42-14. The Commanders are 3-1 and currently lead the NFC East.

Jayden Daniels has been arguably the most impressive rookie so far. The No. 2 overall pick is setting records early in his career, and does not look like he will slow down. Daniels has the highest completion percentage through his first four games in NFL history, topping a list with Tom Brady as the last leader. He also became the first quarterback to complete 85% of more of his throws in back to back games.

Against the Cardinals, the rookie threw for 233 yards and a touchdown. He threw an interception as well, but completed 86.7% of his passes. Daniels also rushed for 47 yards and a touchdown.

Terry McLaurin, who has been heating up, caught the only touchdown for the Commanders. He hauled in seven catches for 52 yards. Olamide Zaccheaus led all receivers in the game, catching six passes for 85 yards.

The Commanders had their way on the ground, running all over the Cardinals. They tallied 216 rushing yards on 37 total rushes. Brian Robinson led the way with 21 carries for 101 yards and a touchdown. Veteran back Jeremy McNichols had an impressive day, rushing eight times for 68 yards and two touchdowns. Daniels accounted for the rest of the rushing yards.

The Cardinals were never able to get anything going after their opening drive, and fell apart after halftime.

Kyler Murray threw for 142 yards and a touchdown, but got sacked four times. He was only able to rush one time for three yards, which affected his play greatly.

James Connor pieced together a nice game for himself, rushing 18 times for 104 yards and a touchdown. Trey Benson filled in for him at the end of the game, and accumulated 50 yards over nine carries. Eight of his rushing came in the final drive of the game.

Marvin Harrison Jr. was able to catch five of his six targets, turning it into 45 yards and a touchdown. He led the Cardinals in receiving and now his touchdowns in three straight games.

The Commanders look like a team that can cause serious damage throughout the season, and possibly even compete for a NFC East title. If Jayden Daniels can keep dominating games the way he has been, and continues to protect the football, Washington is a team to look out for.
