The San Francisco 49ers dominated the New York Jets on Monday Night Football, winning by a score of 32-19.
Even without Christian McCaffrey, the 49ers running was dominant and the Jets had no answer. Jordan Mason had the game of life, rushing 28 times for 147 yards and a touchdown.

Brock Purdy completed 19 of his 29 passes, for 231 yards. Jauan Jennings led the way receiving, catching five catches for 64 yards. Deebo Saumel also caught five balls, and he finished with 54 yards. Samuel also had 23 rushing yards.
The Niners defense also had a strong game, causing a fumble, an interception, and a stop on fourth down. The Jets also scored their last touchdown late in the game, with Tyrod Taylor playing.
Jake Moody also shined for the 49ers, going 6/6 on field goals. He also went 2/2 on extra points, so the second-year kicker was flawless.

The Jets never got anything going Monday night, and Aaron Rodgers' first game back was spoiled. Rodgers completed 13 of 21 passes for 167 yards, a touchdown and an interception.
Breece Hall was only able to rush for 54 yards tonight, which came out to be 3.4 yards a carry. He also fumbled early in the game, but Hall was able to score the Jets’ first touchdown of the season.
Allen Lazard led the Jets air attack, catching six passes for 89 yards and two touchdowns. Garrett Wilson went for six catches for 60 yards, which is not the night he would have wanted.
The Niners proved that they are a Super Bowl caliber team tonight. Even without their best player in McCaffrey, and missing Talonoa Hufanga and more, they still looked dominant. They also beat a Jets team that is expected to make some noise this year, which makes the win even more impressive. The 49ers will look to continue getting healthy and will gear up to play at Minnesota next weekend. The Jets will look to regroup after a tough loss and will be playing the Titans next week.
