Chiefs veteran tight end Travis Kelce agrees to a two-year $34.25M deal with the Kansas City Chiefs to renew his contract through 2027.
In the 2023-2024 season, Kelce recorded 93 receptions for 984 yards and five touchdowns. He lost his streak of seven straight 1,000+ yard seasons, coming up 16 yards shy of 1,000 yards. However, he was crucial to the Chiefs' 2024 Super Bowl victory.

Kelce has played a significant role in the recent Cheifs dynasty, catching 907 passes for 11,328 yards and 74 touchdowns in his career. He is often regarded as one of the most fantastic tight ends in Chiefs history.
Throughout Mahones' seven seasons with the Cheifs, Kelce has been Mahomes' favorite target, outside of former Cheifs wide receiver Tyreek Hill. With his new two-year contract, Mahomas is set to have his favorite target for the next two seasons.
Kelce’s $34.25M contract makes him the highest-paid tight end in NFL history.
