Another holdout in San Francisco is over. Trent Williams and the Niners are finalizing a new deal which will put him in line to play against the Jets on Monday.
Social media posts from Williams' brother showed the star left tackle returning to the Bay Area late Monday night. Elite Loyalty Sports confirmed on Tuesday that Williams was headed back to San Francisco with a new deal.

Williams, 36, who has been holding out for the entire training camp, was fined more than $4 million. During this time away, Williams was preparing for the season at his home in Houston. Trent was owed $20.05 million under his current deal, which the All-Pro signed in 2021.
The Niners have been able to work their magic this offseason, restructuring the contracts of two-star players Christian McCaffrey and Trent Williams. Also, dealing with wide receiver Brandon Aiyuks's holdout, the Niners have been able to retain most of their star players from their Super Bowl run last season.
With no reps with the team, Williams might be a little rusty heading into week one, but I'm sure the Niners and their fans are happy to have him back.
